Apple Butter Demo

Join our friends Linda and Dave next to their Airstream trailer while they demonstrate how to make Apple Butter – a method developed during the Middle Ages over hundreds of years ago! Apples and cider are slow-cooked for several hours to a point where the sugar in the apples caramelizes, turning the apple butter a deep brown.

Forging Demo

Come out to meet James from Burning River Forge and watch him as he demos with his anvil, vise, forge, and tools! He has these awesome kitchen utensils, bottle openers, chef knives, leather wallets, hammers, fire pokers, and items made from railroad spikes.

Stein’s Honey

Learn about the benefits of local raw honey and springtime pollination here at the farm. Examine a glass observation hive on display, and check out a real beekeeper suit to see what is needed to stay safe while working the bees. Visit them online.

Quarry Hill Winery

We’re bringing the vineyard to you and we will have a remote “cash bar” located inside our event at the Orchard and will be serving wine tastings and wines by the glass.  Now there’s more reason to linger a little longer; make sure your glass stays full!
