Apple Peak Blue Ribbon Apple Pie Contest

Do you have a secret ingredient that makes your apple pie the one that everyone can’t stop talking about? We’re bringing back one of our very first traditions of this event…our blue ribbon apple pie contest! Winners in each category receive QHO goodies from the Market Barn!

Categories/Age Groups: Adult (18+) Tween (10-17) Kid (9 & Under)

Pies are judged on the following criteria:
– Appearance
– Quality
– Taste


Rules for Competition:
1. All pies must contain apples and entire pie shall be made from scratch.
2. Pies must be at the judging booth by 11AM on Saturday, October 10th.
3. Entry form and recipe must accompany each pie.
4. One pie entry per person.
5. We encourage you to use Quarry Hill apples in your recipe and they can be purchased at a discount.
6. Winning entries will be displayed at the pie judging booth when judging is concluded.
