During every harvest season, you’re invited to venture into our orchards and experience picking ripe fruit to take home! Each season offers a new crop to pick – see our general harvest and pick-your-own timeframes below. All hand-harvested fruit is priced and sold per pound.
We have an established procedure for a successful Pick-Your-Own visit. It starts with an advance purchase online here. Upon arrival, check in with our staff before entering the orchard to get directions for taking home the best possible quality fruit. CHERRY SEASON
Ready for Harvest: June – July
From mid-June to mid-July, we have a crop of sweet cherries available for picking. Upon arrival, check in with a Market Barn staff member for picking instructions, orchard directions, baskets, and a warm send off!
- Pick-your-own cherry hours: 9 AM – 5 PM

RASPBERRY & CURRANT SEASON
Ready for Harvest: July
Juicy red and black raspberries are ripe for the picking in July! Upon arrival, check in with a Market Barn staff member for picking instructions, berry patch directions, baskets, and a warm send off!
- Call ahead for pick-your-own raspberry & currant hours.

PEACH SEASON
Ready for Harvest: mid-July – September
Plump peaches are the star of the orchard from mid-July through September! Hand harvesting peaches can be tricky, but rewarding, so we offer peach workshops to learn “the art of picking peaches.”
- Check available workshops ($6) to pick your own peaches. Reserve your spots here.
- Workshop includes orchard entry fee, guided peach tour, picking instructions & baskets for picking.
- Pick-your-own peaches are sold by the pound.

SUNFLOWER SEASON – NEW for 2024
Ready for Harvest: September
Sunflower picking is our exciting new 2024 activity at Quarry Hill Orchards! For the first time ever, you can stroll through our vibrant sunflower field and hand-pick a bouquet to take home. Capture stunning photos, create lasting memories, and bring a little sunshine back with you! Upon arrival, check in with a Market Barn staff member for bouquet baskets, picking instructions, and a warm send-off to the sunniest part of the orchard.
- Pick-your-own sunflower bouquet hours: 10:00am – 5:00pm daily during the season.
- Sunflower field entry fee: $4 per person (ages 3+)
- Bouquets: $2 per stem

APPLE SEASON
Ready for Harvest: August – October
Apple picking is the classic fall activity that brings families and friends back to our orchards year after year. Take home memories, stunning photos, and sweet, crisp apples! Upon arrival, check in with a Market Barn staff member for picking instructions, orchard directions, baskets, and a warm send off!
- Pick-your-own apple hours: 10:00am – 5:00pm daily during the season.
