SUMMARY:Basket Festival 5K
DESCRIPTION:Help us to celebrate the 33rd annual Berlin Heights Basket Festival 5K and 12th annual 1 Mile Fun Run at Quarry Hill Orchards! \n\n\n\nOn Sunday morning\, August 3rd\, meet us under the pin oak trees on the Humm Road lawn (next to the old market / packhouse) to stretch your legs and get ready to run!  \n\n\n\nPre-Registration for the run is now closed\, but signups are encouraged and welcomed on site! Registration will begin at 7AM on August 3rd at Quarry Hill Orchards! \n\n\n\n\nThis years race will take place on pavement (Humm Road) and includes level ground with a generous hill that offers gorgeous orchard and vineyard views. A hydration station will be sponsored by (and located at) the roundabout at Quarry Hill Winery. Fresh peaches and ice cream will be served to all participants after the race. \n\n\n\nWhen:  Sunday August 3rd\, 2025. The 5K Race will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.\, and the One Mile Fun Run starts after this race at ~ 9:30 a.m. Day of race registration begins at 7:00 a.m. \n\n\n\nWhere: Quarry Hill Orchards \n\n\n\nRegistration Fee: $25 pre-registration (non-refundable). Please submit your pre-registration form (click here to download this form) and payment by July 28\, 2024 to be considered “pre-registered.” \n\n\n\nPay by check or money order to (mail in OR use our online shop to register): Basket Festival c/o Basket Festival Committee\, P.O. 378\, Berlin Heights\, OH 44814 \n\n\n\nT-Shirts: Provided to the first 55 registered runners. \n\n\n\nAwards: Cash prize for top male and female performers overall\, Medals awarded to top three in each age group. 1 Mile fun run will not receive awards. \n\n\n\nOther: For a full schedule of festival events happening over this weekend\, please click here. The parking immediately NEXT to the Market Barn will be very congested and at capacity.
